I am Adam Naresky, and I’m a general animator, graphic designer, and self-taught illustrator from Central New York. I began my artistic endeavors in high school, and began to take it seriously by the time I was a senior. I primarily specialized in graphic design at the time. After graduation, I enrolled in Mohawk Valley Community College to continue my education in the graphic arts, but also decided to dual major in Digital Animation, as it sounded appealing. This decision honestly changed the course of my life and career, as I was completely immersed in the world of animation after that point. I excelled in classes, met lots of praise from peers and professors, and ultimately graduated with my Associate’s degree in 2023. I subsequently enrolled in Alfred State College’s Bachelor’s program in Digital Media and Animation, and the rest is history!

 

My skills primarily lie in hand-drawn cel animation and illustration, specifically in regards to character animation and design. However, I also have experience in 3D animation, modeling, texturing, and sculpting, as well as storyboarding, graphic design, motion graphics, and video production. I have received numerous commendations and awards for my art, including scholarships, gallery exhibitions, and discussions about my work with industry professionals. I am primarily motivated by my drive to improve with every project, as well as the love and support I receive from my family and friends.
